The Product Planning team in Volkswagen Passenger Cars are recruiting for a Sales Planning Support Manager on a permanent full time basis.
What you could be doing:
- Reporting into the Sales Planning Manager you will be responsible for supporting the wider Sales and Supply Planning team with insight and analysis required to manage the brands car flow to achieve required sales targets by model and channel.
- There is significant emphasis placed on the optimisation of our sales channel (Retail, Fleet, etc.) strategy to ensure financial efficiency, as well as the impact of new model market introduction (MI) within a large and complex product range.
- You will be integral in providing commercial insight and risk/opportunity identification in the Brand, as well as monitoring trends and performing a key role in the annual 5 year long-term planning round.
Skills & experience you can bring to the role:
- Advanced Excel and/or reporting tool (BI) knowledge.
- The ability to identify risks and opportunities and plans to address both.
- Excellent analytical skills with a logical and methodical approach.
- Proven experience of applying commercial acumen and market insight to management information.
- Used to working and delivering in a high pressured environment.
- The ability to deliver commercially relevant analysis, reporting and insight.
