The UK Solar PV market is enjoying a boom time at the moment and other areas of the renewable energy solutions marketplace are not far behind. We are an established player in Solar PV as well as other areas of the energy space. We specialise exclusively in providing solutions to SME\’s and smaller Corporates.We are a growing business and we are looking for a proven, experienced Solar PV sales professional to join our team. Your role will be to oversee the end-to-end sales process for bespoke solar systems for SME businesses. You must have a proven record of accomplishment in delivering excellent customer service, as well as achieving sales targets in Solar PV. A sound working knowledge on the design aspect of solar is a requirement, to offer our customers different configuration options. The role is remote but ideally based in the Midlands of England (other regions also available) to cover the current opportunity we have on offer. Responsibilities Exceed personal sales targets New business development (direct sales) of Commercial Solar Manage and grow your own portfolio of clientsBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersTo assess the customer requirements and provide the best suited solutionTo promote carbon neutral solutions and the benefits to the clientWork closely with our design and installation team to ensure customer expectations are metTo identify and take part in exhibitions and other networking & marketing events.Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc through our CRM.Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.Requirements Proven experience in Commercial Solar PV salesProven work experience as a Sales or Business Development ManagerProven sales record of accomplishmentProficiency in MS Office and CRM software Market knowledge of Renewable Energy technologies (Solar PV in particular)Communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build rapportTime management and planning skillsProven networking skillsKey Skills and Experience; Minimum 3 years experience in B2B sales managementCapable of understanding technical concepts and explain effectively to customersAble to work alongside the internal design team to construct a best-fit proposal and present it to the clientProfessional, ethical approach with a focus on the customerDynamic, self-motivated, and pro-activeAmbitious for personal growth and career developmentExcellent interpersonal skills, good attention to detail and work in an orderly fashionWhat we can offer you; A genuine career opportunity as part of an excellent team.Comprehensive Management supportFirst class administration supportExcellent pre-sales and post-sales technical supportLead generation and networking supportExcellent Marketing supportPackage: Basic salary in the range: £40,000 – £50,000 with OTE earnings above £80,000 per annum Location: Remote with some time spent at HQ in Cumbria.
