Mobilisation Manager (Overhaul) – Repair Shop – Selhurst Are you passionate about operational readiness and stakeholder collaboration? At Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR). We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Mobilisation Manager to support the Planning Manager (Overhaul) in delivering mobilisation programmes for planned overhaul workstreams at both Selhurst and Hornsey. This is a critical role ensuring that all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to support our Production teams.Key Accountabilities Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely introduction of Overhaul and Engineering Projects. Collaborate with GTR Materials teams and external suppliers to develop and validate Bills of Materials (BoMs) for planned overhaul workstreams. Review and confirm material orders, ensuring timely delivery to support operational schedules. Engage with the GTR Safety Team during mobilisation phases to support the creation, review, and implementation of risk assessments. Work with the Training and Competency Team to identify and address any new or specialist competence requirements. Support compliance activities, including audits, PGIs, and statutory inspections. Champion a safe working environment, ensuring safety is embedded in all mobilisation activities. Maintain Maintenance Management System integrity, ensuring overhaul schedules are met and rolling stock availability is maximised. Provide technical guidance and decision-making in line with Engineering and Railway Group Standards. Support additional tasks as directed by Senior Management to contribute to the successful delivery of GTR\’s strategic objectives. What you\’ll bring Strong experience in engineering mobilisation, project coordination, or fleet operations. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Knowledge of rolling stock maintenance and overhaul processes. Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g., Maximo) and materials planning. A proactive, safety-first mindset with a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational environment.
