About the role
Do you have extensive Higher Education Admissions knowledge and wish to diversify your skill set and develop a career as Head of Admissions Test Operations? University Admissions Tests UK (UAT-UK) is a unique collaboration between Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge, shaping how the world's brightest students are selected for top UK universities. You'll be working in a space where academia meets innovation, managing key partnerships, and collaborating with leading experts to ensure world-class assessment delivery.
What you would be doing
- Have ultimate responsibility for leading, directing and managing the UAT-UK Process.
- Be responsible for developing and implementing UAT-UK strategies and plans.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure business operations are effective, efficient and financially rigorous.
- Continually develop and improve procedures and policies to ensure requirements are met.
What we are looking for
- Significant experience of complex project management in a senior role in the public sector.
- Experience of working with significant commercial suppliers to ensure delivery of outcomes.
- Ability to present regular progress reports and findings to senior stakeholders and Committees.
- Strong stakeholder management, team leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of the Higher Education sector, admissions processes and timescales is desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to travel to both Imperial College London and the University of Cambridge as required, with occasional travel to other University campuses.
