About The Role
SALARY: From pa dependent on experience
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.
HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full time permanent (35 hours p/w)

We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual to join our Fleet Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll assist the smooth running of our retail fleet of passenger and light commercial vehicles by:
- Authorising routine services and tyre replacements in line with manufacturer guidelines and budget controls.
- Supporting customers and internal teams with vehicle downtime issues, including arranging hire vehicles.
- Providing updates on repairs and estimated completion times to customers and account managers.
- Handling goodwill reimbursements and producing internal reports.
- Communicating effectively across teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Meeting departmental KPIs around cost control, response times, and compliance.

Essential experience & skills:
- Experience working as a vehicle technician or relevant technician qualifications.
- A thorough and detailed knowledge of Maintenance processes.
- A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to react appropriately and effectively to changing priorities and demands.
- Confidence communicating both face to face or by telephone.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
- IT literate with the ability to grasp new systems.
- High level of time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of Fleet leasing solutions.
