The Role

Your Leadership

You will...
- Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Sports or Leisure related qualification, a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification and a full First Aid at Work qualification. (First Aid will need to be done whilst in post if not already obtained)
- Have experience of supervisory responsibilities and significant knowledge of health and safety guidelines in a sports and leisure centre environment.
- Need to be able to work flexibly as the role involves working mostly evenings, and weekends on a rota basis, taking responsibility for opening and securing the premises.

Department Info
DVC Sports Centre is located at Dearne Valley College and provides the local area with a diverse range of cardiovascular and muscle strengthening equipment. There are over 25 fitness classes taking place each week, our staff will support you to achieve your fitness goals and pursue a healthy lifestyle. Whilst on shift you will be responsible for the facilities and staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and being able to respond to, and solve any queries or issues. You will report directly to the Centre Manager.
