We are passionate about working alongside our client\’s and partners to maintain the utility services essential to modern life throughout the UK.About the Role:The role available will be working from our Carlisle site alongside a United Utilities customer support Technician, where you will be required to work on the Bucket 1 reactive contract solving problems on the sewer network. This role will be on a shift-based pattern with working times of 8am to 6pm front shift and 12pm to 10pm back shift. Weekends and Bank Holidays are included.Location: Carlisle Hours: 42.5 hours per week Salary: £33,326-£37,525 per annum (depending on experience). Overtime rates are offered for weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday work at X1.5.You will be working closely with a CST (UU Operative) to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities. Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow. Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems. Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers. Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry purposes Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
