Here’s a taste of what you will be doing as a Head of Marketing at Nottingham Building Society:

  • Enterprise & Commercial Leadership: Own the marketing strategy, investment decisions and commercial outcomes, influencing product, pricing and distribution through insight.
  • Growth & Performance: Deliver full funnel growth across all channels, ensuring activity drives acquisition, engagement, loyalty and commercial value.
  • Brand & Creativity: Lead brand positioning and governance while driving creative excellence and insight led storytelling.
  • Customer & Brand Advocacy: Represent marketing priorities at senior forums and shape enterprise wide strategy.
  • Data, Digital & AI Capability: Build future fit capability across first party data, AI, automation, personalisation and connected omnichannel experiences.
  • Measurement & Optimisation: Set the measurement framework and performance rhythms to enable real time optimisation and clear ROI.
  • Matrix & People Leadership: Lead and develop a high performing team, aligning channel experts and partners behind shared goals.
  • Risk & Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance, Consumer Duty, data privacy and strong controls across all marketing activity.

About you:

  • Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Skilled in enterprise level strategy, value creation, P&L drivers, investment allocation and ROI.
  • Marketing Excellence: Deep expertise in proposition development, go to market launches, full funnel growth, CRM and lifecycle marketing.
  • Data, Digital & AI Fluency: Strong command of first party data strategy, segmentation, experimentation and AI or automation for personalisation and optimisation.
  • Matrix & Executive Leadership: Confident influencing at Exec level, aligning cross functional teams, setting clear measures and driving accountability.
  • Creative & Storytelling Leadership: Able to lead distinctive brand building, insight driven storytelling and high craft creative standards.
  • Change & Transformation Capability: Experienced in operating model redesign, capability building and improving processes and governance.
  • Proven Track Record: Led multi-disciplinary marketing teams in regulated industries, delivered brand evolution, built always on data driven marketing, influenced ExCo or Board, and grown talent.
