The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Curriculum Lead in Maths to join our Strodes College team starting in August 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Curriculum Lead in Maths role is a full-time role involving working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday at Strodes College. This role pays on the Programme Managers pay scale PM1 - 39,291.00 up to PM7 46,966.00 depending on qualifications and years of teaching experience.
The Curriculum Lead in Maths is a combined teaching and leadership role responsible for managing the daily delivery of provision for Maths learners across at least three courses, one of which will have a significant student cohort, including GCSE, A Level, and A Level Further Mathematics.
Working closely with the Assistant Principal and Head of Department, the post-holder will play a key role in raising the quality of the student learning experience, improving engagement and satisfaction, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through the efficient and economical use of college resources.
Beyond classroom delivery, responsibilities include leading departmental quality assurance, managing the induction and development of new staff, and driving the sharing of best practice in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
To be considered, candidates must hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one), a minimum Level 3 subject qualification, and Level 2 proficiency in English and mathematics. The role requires significant teaching experience within a college environment, backed by a strong track record of designing and delivering imaginative, innovative, and high-impact learning.
Additionally, successful applicants must demonstrate experience providing pastoral support to students aged 16-18, strong administrative capabilities, and a firm commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting student welfare.
