This is key to enabling us to deliver on the promises we\’ve made to the people of Wales to build a sustainable transport network that meets their needs.Role responsibilities The Digital Business Partner (DBP) will support Transport for Wales (TfW) in building a long-term operational and strategic partnership between the directorate and the IT and Digital Services Team (ITDS). Improve and monitor overall satisfaction with IT and Digital Services by overseeing and acting on feedback from stakeholders and end users, by creating action plans to ensure portfolio requirements are understood by the ITDS team and to meet stakeholder needs and continuously improve in response to feedback. Create and maintain productive partnerships with all stakeholders by facilitating regular, collaborative communication to support the implementation of technology related projects throughout the project lifecycle. Support the realisation of the full benefits following the successful implementation and completion of ITDS projects by working closely with and advising stakeholders to ensure effective communication and updates to the portfolio group. Align stakeholders\’ needs with the digital strategic direction by identifying emerging risks and opportunities in the current service proposition to improve the productivity of the portfolio group. Who we\’re looking for Degree level qualification in IT or equivalent experience. Demonstrable experience building productive relationships with senior stakeholders within a large and complex organisation, displaying awareness and sensitivity at all levels, to achieve objectives and deliver outcomes. Excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience of employing presentational, written techniques and tools to inform and educate others and the capacity to manage all interactions in a professional manner using sensitivity, diplomacy and tact. Ability to take a complex technical need or solution and explain it to a non-technical audience so that the impact on the business is easily understood along with the ability to work with and resolve uncertainty and ambiguity. Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
