Customer Engineer – Field Engineer (Heathrow) (Feltham, London, United Kingdom) Job Req ID: Posting Date: 05/08/2025 Function: Field Engineering Location: 30 minute commutable distance primarily to Heathrow (daily), Monday – Friday. Mandatory requirement: 5-year checkable work history (critical for Airside access) and ability to pass a criminal record check and UK Manual Driving License Why this job matters In this Customer Engineer role you'll maintain and support our contract with British Airways (IAG) Data & Voice network services at Heathrow. You'll be part of a team of 20 engineers at Heathrow Airport who have a wide range of skills & responsibilities; however, your primary role will be as a Customer Engineer responding to reported incidents such as voice telephone faults on Cisco phones. You'll be on-site daily at Heathrow (08.00 – 16.00) but sometimes required to carry out tasks at London City and Gatwick airports, along with several data centres across London. If an environment where each day poses a different challenge is what gets you up in the morning then this is the role for you. This is a technical, hands-on role, which will require ad hoc out-of-hours work, don't worry we'll pay you overtime. Key Responsibilities Preventive maintenance checks. Staging new network equipment on Juniper and Cisco switches. Staging & building Cisco phones Cisco and Juniper system maintenance Network patching Assist with fault-finding Stock Control and Asset Management There is an opportunity to develop & qualify for CCST & CCNA.
