The Phoenix is a beautiful venue steeped in rich history; originally built on the site of an old musical hall called The Alcazar, it’s been the home of serious drama, comedy and musicals for over 92 years. We have a neoclassical exterior and an interior designed in an Italianate style by Theodore Komisarjevsky. The theatre opened with the premiere of Private Lives featuring Noёl Coward in the cast, along with Gertrude Lawrence, Adrienne Allen and a young Laurence Olivier. One of the most outstanding successes for the venue to date was Willy Russell’s ‘Blood Brothers’, which transferred from the Albery Theatre in late 1991 and became the venue’s longest running show playing until 2012. The Phoenix is proud to be the West End home of the award-winning production ‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow’, which opened to great acclaim in November 2023.

The Box Office Sales Advisor will assist the Ticketing Managers in the smooth running of the box office and deliver the highest standard of customer service in order to maximise sales, productivity and occupancy of the venue. You will process customer and trade bookings with utmost accuracy using the in-house Ticketing System, which is currently Audience View.
