Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of Health and Safety, keeping our people safe.
  • Collaborate with your colleagues to develop a strong organisational safety culture across Citizen.
  • Create and analyse performance data, identifying themes and trends and proactively improving H&S across Citizen.
  • Commission and carry out audits, inspections and incident investigations to identify root causes, establish corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a clear strategy and supporting action plan to ensure the organisation complies with all aspects of Health & Safety legislation and aspires to meet best practice.

Qualifications and experience:

  • NEBOSH Level 6 / IOSH recognised qualification at degree or post-graduate level.
  • Detailed knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
  • Significant H&S leadership experience.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH or equivalent.
  • Experience in establishing a H&S management system within housing or a similar environment (desirable).
