The Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all food production and banquet functions. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest food quality, managing food and labour budgets, and maintaining food safety standards. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will manage a team of chefs and kitchen porters, oversee daily food production, handle hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluation, ensure correct storage and stock rotation, minimise wastage, and monitor financial results to stay within budget. You will supervise the preparation and presentation of food, liaise with the Event Sales Manager for special events, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety across all kitchen operations.
Experience & Skills Required: A culinary degree or equivalent experience, with leadership and management skills. Any equivalent combination of food production/management experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Schedule: We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300. Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours β weekends and bank holidays. Evening availability for functions (until 0200).
