As a Teacher of Art and Design Technology you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons that inspire creativity, develop technical skill and support strong progress for all learners. You will teach across Art, Design Technology, Textiles and Photography, contributing to a curriculum that is ambitious, well‑sequenced and responsive to the needs of a diverse student community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate students, using evidence‑informed pedagogy and adapting teaching to ensure all learners, including those with SEND and EAL, can thrive.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, assessment processes and the wider work of the faculty.
  • Participate in departmental and whole‑school activities, support the school’s behaviour and safeguarding culture, and contribute to enrichment opportunities and events.
  • Engage in regular professional development through the structured CPD offer, including coaching, faculty time and whole‑school training.
