About the Role

This Marketing & Communications Officer role is central to how the school communicates with parents, students, staff and the wider community. You’ll lead on producing engaging, high-quality content across newsletters, social media, the website and printed publications, ensuring everything reflects the school’s values and celebrates the achievements of students and staff. The role blends creativity with organisation: designing promotional materials, coordinating photography, gathering stories from across the school and supporting key events such as open evenings, awards evenings and results days.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, you’ll help shape the school’s public profile by producing displays, event resources and digital content that showcase the life of the school. You’ll also support brand consistency, monitor engagement, ensure compliance with safeguarding and GDPR requirements, and contribute to effective management of the school’s marketing budget.

About You

You’ll bring strong experience in communications, marketing, media or public relations, with the ability to produce polished digital and print content from concept to completion. Confident using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, MS Office and modern digital/AI communication tools, you can adapt tone and style for different audiences and communicate clearly across a range of formats. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure are essential. You’ll be a positive, collaborative team member who builds strong relationships across the school and with external stakeholders. Experience in a school setting, photography or video editing, and an understanding of safeguarding and GDPR would be beneficial. Above all, you’ll be committed to promoting the achievements, values and ethos of the school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.

Why Join Us?
