We are seeking an individual to work in a team environment to complete the tank build process. You must understand the relevant legislation and procedures to ensure that our tanks are welded to the standard required. The role includes welding in both Mild and Stainless Steel at a variety of thicknesses. You must work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets.
You will be working in the Tank House 5 days a week in the production department in Solihull. Some of the duties are:
- It is essential that you have MIG welding experience in both Mild and Stainless steel at various thicknesses.
- Pipe welding experience is desirable.
- The role will require the successful candidate to pass multiple welder qualifications.
- Background working in a production environment.
- A positive attitude.
- Ability to understand SOP’s to assemble components for our tankers.
- Good communication skills.
- Methodical and organised approach to tasks.
- Good time management.
- It would be an advantage to have a forklift and overhead crane licence.
