We are seeking a Service Workshop Engineer to work 5 days a week in our Service Department in Peterborough. Some of the duties are:

  • Servicing and repairs to both Whale Tankers and Non-Whale equipment
  • Maintenance of vacuum and jetting systems on a variety of models and manufacturers
  • The ability to identify faults, correctly diagnose repairs and parts required
  • Accurately identify parts required and amend stock profile where required to improve first fix
  • Completion of all paperwork in a timely manner to the required level of detail
  • Customer communication and feedback on progress/providing accurate input to customer reports when required
  • Identifying opportunities for additional work required
  • Weekend working may be required to support customer contracts
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Adhere, contribute to, and work to Health and Safety and Quality regulations
  • Maintain equipment calibration, service and inspection requirements in-line with company requirements
  • Provide input to customer quotations with parts and labour estimates
  • Offsite work where required to support field service demands
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required
