You'll own a portfolio of key clients, shaping long-term growth strategies, strengthening executive relationships, and identifying new opportunities across our full suite of Creator Marketing solutions.

Success in this role requires equal parts commercial instinct, strategic thinking, and relationship leadership. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of key UK agency clients, delivering against ambitious revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor who understands their business and long-term marketing goals.
  • Identify and unlock new commercial opportunities across Whalar's full product offering, driving incremental revenue and long-term account growth.
  • Partner with the Co-Heads of Client Accounts and New Business team to onboard new clients and ensure a seamless client experience from day one.
  • Lead the development of innovative creator marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results and differentiate Whalar in the market.
  • Own pipeline management, forecasting, and commercial planning, ensuring strong forecasting accuracy and healthy portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Services, Business Affairs, Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client work while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Champion the Creator Economy by bringing emerging trends, thought leadership, and new opportunities to clients through presentations, workshops, and strategic conversations.
  • Represent Whalar confidently in client meetings, industry events, and presentations, helping strengthen our position as the market leader in Creator Marketing.
  • Mentor and inspire internal teams, fostering a collaborative, commercially-minded culture focused on delivering outstanding client outcomes.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in client leadership, account management, partnerships, or commercial roles within marketing, media, advertising, or the creator economy.
  • A proven track record of growing strategic client relationships while consistently delivering against revenue and commercial targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing forecasts, pipelines, profitability, and complex client portfolios.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and become a trusted business partner.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect client challenges to innovative creator-led marketing solutions.
  • Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable leading executive conversations, workshops, and industry discussions.
  • Passion for the Creator Economy, social media, digital culture, and emerging marketing trends.
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and enjoys developing high-performing teams.
  • Adaptable, curious, and comfortable navigating changing priorities across multiple industries and client categories.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools or emerging technologies to improve efficiency, insights, or client delivery is a plus.
