About The Role
We are seeking a Social Distribution & Content Strategist to architect the rollout of a multi-market video podcast / content series across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Apple and Spotify. This individual will be responsible for the packaging of the show content, ensuring that our documentary-style long-form films are engineered for maximum discoverability and engagement across our targeted platforms. This is an upfront planning role designed to build the infrastructure that our client will then ultimately execute against.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Social Planner
- Define how YouTube (Long-form), YouTube Shorts, Spotify, and social cutdowns (TikTok/Instagram) interconnect to drive viewership and engagement.
- Advise the production team on the volume and variety of assets required to ensure the series is distribution-ready before we even wrap the shoot.
- Adapt the content rollout for a European audience, ensuring cultural nuances and language considerations are woven into the calendar.
- Social Optimisation
- Design a framework for A/B testing thumbnails, titles, and metadata.
- Establish a feedback loop where learnings from Episode 1 immediately inform the packaging of Episode 2.
- Craft high-click-through titles and keyword descriptions that satisfy both the user and the search algorithm.
- Direct the visual design of thumbnails to ensure they compete at the highest level and work with the platform algorithms.
- Planning & Copywriting
- Deliver a comprehensive infrastructure calendar mapping the content distribution ecosystem, detailing exactly what goes live, where, and when.
- Write high-engagement social copy that adheres to strict regulatory guardrails (pharma/medical experience preferred and documentary style background preferred).
- Collaborate with the media planning team to ensure organic strategy and paid amplification are perfectly synced.
- Production Consultation
- Advise the Director and DP during pre-production on “social-first” moments to capture during the shoot.
