Whalar is the leading, most awarded, independent Creator and Social agency. We transform brands into cultural drivers by unlocking the full creative power of Creators. We go beyond the conventional social and influencer strategy. We have the technology and methodology to tap into the beating pulse of communities, listen to nuances that move culture, and connect brands in ways that make them unforgettable. With hubs in London, Berlin, New York, and Los Angeles, our reach is global. In London, we proudly collaborate with clients such as Diageo, eBay, Nike, Oatly, Skyscanner, Twinings, Uber, Vodafone, and many more.

We are seeking a Senior Producer who serves as the operational backbone of Whalar Studios - the person who turns ambitious creative into flawlessly executed reality. You are the bridge between creative ambition and executional precision. The person who can look at a bold idea, immediately understand what it takes to make it happen, and build the systems, schedules, budgets, crews, and workflows required to deliver it at the highest level.

Working closely with Directors, Creative Directors, and Client Business Leads, you will scope projects, pressure-test ideas, navigate constraints, and build sophisticated production solutions that protect both the creative vision and the financial health of the work. You are highly organised, deeply connected, commercially sharp, and impossible to rattle. Whether negotiating supplier agreements, managing shifting production realities, or leading a high-pressure set, you bring confidence, clarity, and control to every stage of the process. Most importantly, you care about the standard. The details. The craft. The feeling people are left with after seeing the final work.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Translate high-concept creative into robust production plans, timelines, budgets, and executional workflows across social, creator, and high-end commercial productions.
  • Own the operational and financial health of assigned projects from initial scoping through final delivery, balancing creative ambition with commercial discipline.
  • Act as a trusted production lead across internal teams, clients, creators, talent, crew, and external partners - confidently managing expectations, solving problems, and navigating pressure with calm authority.
  • Build and lead exceptional crews across directors, editors, photographers, stylists, line producers, production partners, and freelance talent, ensuring every project is staffed at the right level for the work and budget.
  • Lead production logistics across shoots, schedules, locations, post-production, equipment, talent, and vendor management while maintaining the highest standards of organisation and execution.
  • Serve as the operational voice of reason when timelines shift, budgets tighten, or production realities challenge the creative ambition - always finding solutions without compromising quality.
  • Help shape and evolve the systems, processes, workflows, and production standards that define The Whalar Way as the studio continues to scale.
  • Bring new ideas, operational frameworks, and production practices that keep Whalar Studios moving at the pace of both culture and modern content production.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of production experience, including significant experience as a Line Producer, Production Manager, or Producer within a top-tier agency, studio, or production company.
  • Deep expertise across both high-end commercial production and the speed, agility, and unpredictability of social and creator-led content.
  • Strong commercial instincts with a clear understanding of how to balance creative ambition, operational realities, budgets, and profitability.
  • Exceptional production leadership skills with the ability to command trust, manage pressure, and bring clarity to high-stakes or high-complexity situations.
  • A deep network of trusted production talent and partners across crew, post-production, talent, studios, editors, photographers, and freelance specialists.
  • Comfortable leading both stills and motion productions, from nimble social shoots to large-scale campaigns and broadcast work.
  • Highly organised with obsessive attention to detail, strong operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple moving workstreams simultaneously.
  • Adaptable, solutions-oriented, and energised by building systems, solving problems, and bringing structure to ambiguity.
  • Genuine passion for creative production, storytelling, and the evolving creator and entertainment landscape.
