The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to:
- The processing of information (electronic and hard copy) in a timely manner.
- Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers in accordance with current policies, including the use of the electronic referral service (ERS).
- Typing/Audiotyping letters, reports and associated documentation as required.
- Liaising with external agencies such as hospitals and community services, ensuring referrals are processed efficiently.
- Managing all enquiries in an effective manner.
- Maintaining an accurate referrals database.
- Actioning all incoming tasks.
- Maintaining accurate patients' healthcare records.
- Processing referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS) and managing worklists.
- Processing requests for information/non-NHS services i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitors letters and DVLA forms etc.
- Reading code data on SystmOne where required.
- Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with the caller's request appropriately.
- Managing online requests and completing them in a timely manner.
- Managing all administrative queries as necessary.
- Supporting all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested.
- Liaising with medical representatives and helping with arranging preparations as appropriate.
- Any other duties that may be reasonably expected of the post holder for the provision of services as directed by the General Manager.
