We are looking for a commercially astute and delivery-focused Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Finance Team in UK Travel to focus on Supplier Income - Reporting and Governance.
What you will be doing:
- Driving enhanced governance within Supplier Incomes, challenging stakeholders where required.
- Business Partnering Key Stakeholders to deliver best results for the business - ranging from identifying risks, opportunities, and insights to both finance and commercial stakeholders.
- Monthly Reporting of Supplier Income and Costs.
- Month End Processes including reconciliations, posting journals and variance analysis.
- Act as intermediary between Finance Support Services and Commercial to facilitate the collection of cash and work with both teams to identify resolutions to issues which arise.
- Reviewing contractual agreements and ensure appropriate income recognition in line with accounting standards.
- Support on audit schedules, analysis & evidence required.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
- Someone highly numerate with an analytical background, ideally within Retail.
- Ability to build relationships & trust with key stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ability to cope with conflicting priorities and manage workload effectively.
- Advanced Excel is essential.
- Confidence to articulate the output of your analysis and challenge both the approach and results when necessary.
