Job Summary
RHC Lifting Limited, a market leader in the lifting equipment industry, is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to clients across the South East. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Welders/Fabricators to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Reads, interprets, prepares materials and builds from technical drawings as assigned by the Projects Team.
- Competently and safely operates welding, cutting and drilling equipment.
- Ensures all work carried out is done safely and in accordance with RHC Lifting safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect and test finished products for functionality and adherence to specification\βs.
- Assists in workshop assembly and testing activities.
- Provides general workshop assistance including carrying out painting of lifting equipment.
- Ensures high standards of quality are maintained at all times.
- Measures, cuts and bends steel components for construction.
- Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the manufacturing process.
- Assist in the enhancement of fabrication methods, seeking efficiency and reduction of costs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Operate in accordance with Company values at all times.
- Any other reasonable duties as determined by the Directors.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge for working with various tools and equipment
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Experience in welding, fabricating, and working with sheet metal
- Ability to stick weld is essential
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
