WH Scott Group is seeking a motivated and technically-minded Sales Executive to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive project-based sales, build strong client relationships, and provide tailored technical solutions in the lifting and engineering sector. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from identifying new opportunities and preparing detailed quotations to project handover, while working closely with both customers and our internal design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in technical sales or engineering looking to grow in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive research and outreach
- Follow up on inbound leads and nurture existing prospects
- Understand customer requirements and liaise with the design team to develop tailored solutions
- Prepare technical quotations, tenders, and costed proposals
- Maintain accurate CRM records and support data-driven sales decisions
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and lead generation strategies
- Conduct client site visits and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
- Deliver engaging technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with business objectives
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to project delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or technical account management

- Technically inclined, ideally with knowledge or experience in lifting equipment, engineering, or industrial products
