We are seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our team in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift and for carrying out daily duties as assigned by the General Manager and the Workshop Supervisor. They will ensure that the workshop is kept safe, clean and tidy and that the Goods In / Goods Out process is carried out effectively. They will report any issues / defects to the Workshop Supervisor.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading lorries and booking in deliveries and booking goods in and out.
- Assisting with general workshop duties including painting and assembly work.
- Ensuring that all tools and equipment are checked in and out and that they are stored correctly.
- Assist with ensuring high standards of housekeeping in the workshop / yard at all times.
- Complete stock audits as necessary, feeding back stock counts to the Workshop Supervisor and General Manager and resolving any stock queries identified.
- Overseeing and administering the Goods In / Goods Out Process.
- Operating in accordance with Company values at all times.
- Any other reasonable duties as determined by the Directors.
