Industry leaders with over 125 yearsβ experience, clients across Europe, and offices throughout Ireland and the UK, the WH Scott Group requires two Field Service Technicians based in any of the following areas: Coventry/Leicester/Northampton/Peterborough. These roles are an expansion of our existing team and will work with the Service Inspector. This role is field-based working with a range of different clients including utilities, marine, power, construction, and manufacturing environments. You will be required to be on site to aid the Inspector in their daily work. There is great scope for progression in this role for the right candidate.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in the carrying out of surveys, inspections, maintenance, and repairs as advised by the service inspector.
- Assist with the formulation, production, and distribution of inspection reports in a professional manner, within daily timescales and service standards.
- Ensure that all customer service standards are met.
- Fully utilise all operational systems available, ensuring accurate data is inputted and reflected.
- Maintain technical standards within the business as advised by the service inspector.
Role Requirements
- You will have hands-on experience in a maintenance, installation, or servicing environment.
- Exposure to commercial cranes, lifting devices, and material handling equipment would be an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in working with utilities preferred but not essential.
- EUSR Water hygiene card preferred but not essential.
- A full current driving license and own mode of transport would be an advantage, as travel may be required to meet the service engineer daily.
- CSCS card and Manual Handling courses would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
- Computer literate, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate and have a clear understanding of health and safety.
