My client is a market leading specialist engineering business and they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to drive strong financial control, deliver high-quality management information and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ad-hoc financial reports
- Support the business in providing accurate and timely management information
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to all key stakeholders; and respond to changes in the business
- Proactively work with the business to compile and manage cashflow, and identify and manage risk
- Revenue Recognition IFRS15
- Present and operate at all levels both internally and externally
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards
- To speak finance to non-finance managers
- To champion finance processes and compliance to accounting practices, challenging behaviours and embedding best practice throughout the wider business
- Monitor and ensure the validity of the information available
