My client is a modern forward thinking practice and they are now looking to recruit an Accountant / Accounts Bookkeeper. This is a flexible working opportunity to suit you so as long as 40 hours per week are completed you can work from the office or at home depending on your preference.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely accounting, bookkeeping and recording of all financial transactions for clients.
  • Preparing and submitting Tax and VAT returns on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to address accountancy-related queries and provide guidance.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial legislation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in practice with a strong focus on providing client support.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Tax and VAT legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
