We are looking to hire a Senior Strategist to join our Creative Intelligence team in London. This is an officeâbased role out of our London office.

Role overview: Are you inherently curious, obsessed with future forecasting and deeply motivated to inspire, challenge and support our global partners? You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the future of foresight and strategy at WGSN. You'll translate complex consumer shifts into actionable, executiveâlevel strategies for our top clients, merging cultural intelligence with commercial foresight. This is a role for a strategic thinker who can connect macro trends with micro behaviours and articulate the "why now" behind cultural change impacting the world's most notable businesses.
Key accountabilities:
- Interface confidently with Câsuite and senior clients, providing cultural clarity and futureâfocused recommendations.
- Partner crossâfunctionally with commercial, content, and marketing teams to produce bespoke strategic plans for our Global top 50 clients; represent Creative Intelligence (CI) at client workshops, client offsites + key industry events.
- Monitor key business and cultural indicators across select top clients, identifying early opportunities and risks.
- Deliver forecasts and client presentations that translate global cultural trends into actionable business opportunities.
- Ensure all content reflects the WGSN and CI tone: insightful, humanâfirst, and commercially relevant.
- Track and synthesize emerging cultural and consumer signals, contributing to the team's strategic POV.
- Participate in CI brainstorms, contributing original thinking and creative strategy ideas.
- Identify, research, and analyse emerging cultural movements, behaviours, and signals across EMEA.
- Contribute to the development of CI white papers, signals + original foresight content.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 3â5 years of experience in trend forecasting, cultural strategy, and/or consumer insights.
- Proven experience presenting complex insights to executive audiences.
- A deep curiosity for how foresight, human behaviour, and culture + creativity intersect with commerce.
- Intellectual humility.
- Strong analytical, writing, and storytelling skills across formats (presentations, workshops, reports, video).
- The ability to distil ambiguity into clarity and inspire action.
- Knowledge of WGSN platforms and forecasting methodology is a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience working with global brands across fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle sectors.
- Prior clientâfacing experience in strategic consulting, foresight, or brand planning.
- Skilled at balancing dataâdriven insight with creative intuition.
