Prepare and send enquiries to sub-contractors inviting them to tender. Seek to minimize project costs and enhance value for money while maintaining standards and quality. Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts. Manage contracts and sub-contracts as required. Certify payment applications from subcontractors. Compile costs for compensation events and manage changes. Manage Change Control, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events. Help avoid disputes with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Prepare and process documentation for sub-contractor payments. Prepare valuations for payment applications to the client. Assist in compiling commercial/contractual responses to clients and subcontractors. Monitor and report on contract expenditure compared to budgets and forecasts. Provide feedback on contract pricing, profit, and loss. Participate in financial and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors. To be considered, candidates should have 3-5 years of experience as a QS or Senior QS, preferably in engineering or construction. A degree or professional qualification from RICS or equivalent is required. Candidates should be able to interpret contract documents, scopes of work, and drawings, and be skilled in financial control, value recovery, and change management.
