Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Write detailed and accurate risk assessment and method statements (RAMS).
- Creation and approval of Single Line & Loop diagrams.
- Undertake site surveys, taking measurements, photos, asking questions of operations, understanding of process, assessing access and egress.
- Resolve technical and logistical issues as they arise.
- Supporting the sites’ needs, material, labour, resources, plant.
- Drive and lead procurement of materials through creation and review of bill of materials.
- Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within the schedule.
- Attend client meetings when required.
- Undertake site HSEQ Audits when required.
- Regularly reporting projects progress and updates to Senior Management.
- Programme management: adherence to programmes and report to management on any discrepancies.
- Subcontractor management.
- Ensuring compliance with BS60079, DSEAR & HSE regulations.
To be considered for this position you will ideally have an Electrical and/or Instrumentation background with previous Hazardous area knowledge and experience. Knowledge of the water industry is advantageous.
Training, skills and qualification:
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Relevant engineering Electrical degree, HND, C&G, professional level 5 award or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years industry experience.
- Compex 01-04, Required (Potential to upskill for the right candidate).
- Compex 05-06 and Compex 12, Advantageous.
- Competent in MS Excel and computer literate.
- Valid UK driving license.
