The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of health, safety, environment and quality.
- Implement WGM and legislative HSEQ requirements.
- Compile accident and incident reports and undertake incident investigations as required.
- Collate accident statistics, categorise accidents and undertake trend analysis.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and implement corrective measures as required.
- Prepare, collate and review safety related documentation submitted by both internal and external stakeholders including Safety Plans, Training documents, Confined spaces, noise and vibration assessments, MSDS / COSHH data and assessments and Environmental risk assessments.
- Develop HSEQ related toolbox talks.
- Implement proactive and reactive safety measures as required.
- Develop HSEQ induction material.
- Undertake sub-contractor compliance audits.
- Undertake site/office related risk assessments where required.
- Liaise with Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency or other government appointed body as required.
- Ensure site compliance with the WGM Health and Safety policies and procedures.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 3-5 years previous experience within a health & safety role ideally within an engineering or construction environment. You will have an excellent working knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation. A NEBOSH Construction Certificate would be beneficial for the role and travel to various sites throughout the country is required, so a valid UK driving license is essential for the role.
