About the Role
You will be responsible for the dismantling, inspection, reporting, repair, assembly, and testing of a wide range of rotating equipment, with a strong focus on pump maintenance. The position involves taking ownership of both workshop and site‑based jobs, requiring a hands‑on and proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify equipment for booking into the workshop maintenance system.
- Dismantle, clean and inspect components, reporting any issues or non‑conformances.
- Rebuild equipment to OEM specifications, quality plans and agreed standards.
- Carry out testing and inspections to ensure assemblies meet requirements.
- Diagnose mechanical faults using a systematic approach.
- Prepare accurate reports, RAMS and job documentation.
- Identify required parts and repairs and ensure materials are available.
Person Specification
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar workshop or engineering environment.
- Strong technical skills and confidence working independently and as part of a team.
- Hands‑on experience with pump maintenance and rotating equipment.
- Competent in the use of engineering measuring equipment.
