The Vacancy WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our E&M Division. This permanent role is based in Glasgow on a hybrid working capacity.

The Role We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Planner to join our E&M Division in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery of maintenance projects by identifying risks, coordinating work activities and ensuring all planning, safety and compliance standards are met. You’ll act as a key link between site teams, planners, engineers and clients — helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate site activities, including material procurement, equipment booking, site access and safety documentation.
- Ensure high standards of field‑based work across internal and external teams.
- Drive compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
- Meet targets and milestones set by your line manager.
- Review post‑job RAMS and action recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Update job files with relevant safety and planning documentation.
- Provide enabling‑stage information to delivery teams.
- Engage with site operatives to agree access and logistics.
- Collaborate with departments and business streams to ensure delivery targets are met.
- Maintain regular communication with managers to track progress and resolve issues.
- Consult with engineers when required to support technical planning.
- Prioritise safety within all planning and scheduling activities.
- Submit detailed, timely site surveys.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience in a Planning, Maintenance, or Project Coordination role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues.
- A commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
