In the role of Public Area Cleaner, you will report to the Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the day to day running of the department.

Responsibilities
- The ability to keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted. Ensure mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free. Remove all trash from areas.
- Regularly check Lobby Restrooms; ensure all surfaces are clean. Restock supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries in the lobby.
- Spot clean all furniture and keep it in its proper place.
- Clean all brass in the public areas.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies and use them properly.
- Be aware of and make full use of recycling facilities within the service areas.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous experience in a housekeeping environment is preferred.
- Ability to deliver a consistent level of service in a challenging environment.
- A commitment to development and progression through training and mentoring opportunities.
