Our Cook role

We’re looking for a talented Cook to join our team.

As our Cook, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen delivering consistently great food throughout the summer season.

Working with our woodfired ovens, you’ll prepare and cook pizzas and simple dishes that celebrate quality ingredients and bold flavours.

You’ll play a key role in creating a seamless, enjoyable experience for our guests by balancing speed, precision and care, even at our busiest moments.

This is a seasonal position offered from August, giving you the flexibility to enjoy everything Watergate Bay Hotel has to offer.

  • Preparing and cooking woodfired pizzas and Cabin menu dishes to a high standard
  • Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation across every order
  • Managing prep, stock rotation and date labelling
  • Working efficiently under pressure in a busy, open kitchen environment
  • Following food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times
  • Supporting your team to deliver a smooth and positive service
