We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, helping to deliver exceptional food experiences through beautifully crafted desserts, pastries, and baked goods. You’ll ensure every dish meets our high standards and is prepared with consistency and care. With a hands‑on approach, you’ll also stay up to date with new recipes, techniques, and ingredients, and assist with daily kitchen operations. This role offers predominantly daytime shifts, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the rhythm of pastry preparation and production while maintaining a positive work‑life balance. This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week.

As our Pastry Chef de Partie you’ll be:

  • Preparing and delivering high‑quality desserts, pastries, baked goods, and sweet menu items.
  • Ensuring every dish is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Learning and developing new pastry techniques.
  • Keeping up to date with recipes, techniques, and menu developments.
  • Conducting daily food preparation, working closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chefs.
  • Keeping up to date with pastry trends, techniques, and ingredients.
  • Maintaining safe food handling practices.
  • Operating and caring for kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Fostering clear communication and a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.

You’ll also:

  • Meet deadlines whilst supporting your team to do the same.
  • Maintain high standards in every aspect of food preparation and presentation.
  • Contribute to the ongoing success and smooth running of the kitchen.

The skills you’ll be sharing with us:

  • Experience working in a pastry kitchen or at Chef de Partie level.
  • NVQ level 1 & 2 or equivalent as a minimum.
  • An interest and passion for the food industry.
  • Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Team player.
  • Guest service focused.
  • Calm under extreme pressure.
  • Responsible, reliable, punctual.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • An ability to delegate appropriately.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and variable shift patterns.
