About the Role

Up to £53,835 + excellent benefits. As a Teacher with Witherslack Group, you will support children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, and other complex learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored teaching to children aged 8‑16 in a purpose‑built, state‑of‑the‑art facility.
  • Plan and implement learning activities that build abilities and raise self‑esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals.
  • Track individual pupil progress and provide specialist support.
  • Participate in whole‑school initiatives to promote inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Previous teaching experience with children who have special educational needs.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check – costs will be covered by the employer.
