Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Autism spectrum and SEMH needs in daily classroom activities.
  • Assist teachers and therapists in delivering planned learning and behaviour plans.
  • Foster pupils' development of learning skills and self-esteem.
  • Attend and actively participate in induction, ongoing training and professional development sessions.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment for all pupils.

Qualifications

  • Experience or willingness to work with children who have autism and SEMH needs.
  • Resilient and dedicated attitude; team-player mindset.
  • Previous classroom experience desirable but not mandatory if training is provided.
  • Ability to support teachers and work closely with therapists.
