Salary up to £29,863 (including SSA and Regional Allowance). The role is a Teaching Assistant working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. It may involve working with both Primary and Secondary-aged pupils. No previous experience is required; full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children and young people with ADHD, ASD, Asperger’s, and SEMH in learning and development.
- Assist teachers and therapists in delivering lesson plans and activities.
- Encourage and build self‑esteem and resilience in pupils.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
