Full‑time Teacher (Maths and/or Science) in the secondary department at Witherslack Group’s Pontville School. Salary: up to £53,835 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Maths and/or Science to secondary pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Support pupils’ learning, development and self‑esteem, fostering positive changes.
  • Collaborate with in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapeutic professionals to provide a holistic learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with students and within the school team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing professional development and mentoring culture of the school.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience in secondary education, preferably with SEND students.
