Overview
Shift Leader – Children’s Homes (£36,231–£40,640 with good attendance and up to 4 sleep‑ins per month)
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day care and support for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Ensure smooth operation of the home, maintaining high standards of care and safety.
- Support and supervise the staff team, stepping up to deputise for Team Leaders when required.
- Foster positive relationships with young people, encouraging their development and well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
- ‘Can‑do’ attitude and a team‑player mindset.
- Empathy, honesty and strong communication skills.
- Resilience to manage challenging situations.
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – if not, the company will fund study.
