A US-based data storage company that provides enterprise-grade object storage solutions for fortune 500 companies is expanding. They are pre-IPO and require a Director of Growth Marketing to manage a global team and be responsible for the strategies and programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention. This marketing leadership position will align marketing initiatives with sales and business goals, and lead growth by building awareness and pipeline. Data-driven insights and innovative marketing strategies and tactics are the foundation of the role, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all paid and organic growth marketing channels worldwide, including web, SEO, SEM, PPC, content marketing, email/automation, events.
- Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing growth marketing team, ensuring individual and collective success by providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Establish the team and project processes and structure that will enable scale.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies and integrated campaigns to support awareness, acquire new customers and partners, and increase lifetime value.
- Focus on careful targeting and appropriate messaging for each stage of the marketing funnel.
- Predictably contribute to pipeline, with a focus on lead quality and velocity through conversion cycle in order to meet or exceed aggressive growth targets.
- Key KPIs will be MQLs, SQLs, Closed/Won, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Optimize paid and organic channels, based on data-driven decisions.
- Close partnership with Operations to consistently measure, test and learn, with a keen focus on data quality and clear reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Channel and Field marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, and Design to ensure consistent and effective positioning and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Foster strong partnerships with sales, product management, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and ongoing collaboration.
- Develop and deliver regular reporting to leadership, highlighting key marketing performance metrics, growth opportunities, and progress towards growth targets.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of growth marketing experience, including B2B marketing campaign development and demand generation experience at high-growth technology companies with an emphasis on the channel.
- Background in storage and/or security preferred.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and executing fully integrated marketing campaigns that deliver against pipeline generation goals.
- Successful track record managing 1:many and 1:few ABM programs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product and finance teams to drive and influence business growth.
- Strong understanding of the sales and marketing technology stack, with hands-on experience with tools such as Pardot, Salesforce, Demandbase, GA, etc.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with a bias towards data-driven decision making.
- Strong understanding of marketing and sales funnel metrics and how to deliver impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
