Job Summary
Under general supervision, this employee performs duties related to the handling, receipting for pick-up, transfer and delivery of all Postal Mail. Comply with WFS site security procedures. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis
- Responsibilities may performwarehouse functions such as postage package handling; including moving, stacking, weighing, labeling, scanning, etc.
- May operate/check company vehicles, mechanized loading equipment; drive company automotive equipment for transporting of cargo packages. NOT all positions require the operating of motorized equipment.
- Able to pass TSA/Homeland Security background check of 10 years and DRUG SCREEN
- HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Some positions require a valid state driver\'s license (Standard or Enhanced)
- Must be Available and Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to speak, read and write English
**This job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues.**

- Ability to lift 30 lbs. without assistance and up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
