Are you an experienced Sales Executive within the Electrical Industry? WFP Electrical are part of a group known as WFP Fire Security Electrical. With over 20 years in the fire and security Industry, we launched our electrical division in 2020, offering anything from Fixed Wire Testing to EV Charging installations. We’ve established ourselves as a reputable name in electrical safety and we’re now looking for an ambitious sales executive to join our growing team.
Candidates should be able to work well as part of the wider team at WFP and be prepared to be a true team player. Your everyday focus will be on building our maintenance (EICR) service customer base. There will be opportunities to sell other services including installations (from full installations to EV chargers). You’ll be given a target and will be remunerated with a commission structure on a per sale basis, as well as when you reach or exceed your targets, in addition to your basic salary and discretionary company bonuses.
The important bits:
- Salary: £30,000.00 - £38,000.00 per year depending on experience
- Commission: Uncapped OTE £55k
- Company car: A company car will be provided upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period (car allowance/access to vehicles during the probationary period)
- Holiday: 21 days’ annual leave, plus statutory public holidays, plus your birthday off
- Location: Billericay, Essex - Office based (when not on site surveys or with customers)
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities for electrical maintenance service contracts within the commercial sector
- Achieve (or exceed!) targeted sales performance levels
- Respond to leads which come in organically whilst using your initiative to target new and past prospects using our database of customers, and using resources such as credit checking sites, Companies House, LinkedIn and generic Internet searching to collate the information you need on relevant decision makers to assist you in making the sale
- Create bespoke package solutions fit for the needs of each customer
- Phone customers/have zoom calls to follow up on quotations, upsell, request reviews and gain customer feedback as part of the sales funnelling process
- Attend site surveys to gather relevant information for quoting and presenting to customers
- Use our service management software and marketing CRM to manage your enquiries and prospects, create your quotations, and log your progress and communications
- Stay up to date with relevant news, trends, technology and standards within the electrical sector
- Create relationship-building meetings with suppliers, manufacturers and partner companies
- Work with your team to determine target audiences, tailor communications based on customer feedback, brainstorm campaign ideas and collate lists of leads from these campaigns for your prospecting
- Report on sales and prospecting progression, and your forecast of expected sales
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate a reliable, honest and professional attitude, which is reflective of the WFP ethos
- A full UK driving licence is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
- Fantastic listening skills to understand our customers’ needs
- Laser focus on results and target-driven
- Brilliant organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Good time-management skills and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and have good objection handling skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, service management software and/or CRMs
- Excellent personal presentation at all times
- Sound knowledge of how the commercial and service sectors work
