WF Tech is recruiting on behalf of a world‑renowned manufacturer of high‑performance transmission systems for motorsport, automotive and advanced engineering applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD/CAM Offline Programmer to join a highly skilled manufacturing team on an initial 6‑month contract.
Working within a fast‑paced precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for Okuma lathes using Edgecam, helping deliver complex, high‑precision components to demanding quality and delivery standards. The company manufactures complex components entirely in‑house and uses dedicated CAD/CAM programming facilities, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced offline programmer.
The Role- Produce and optimise offline CNC programs using Edgecam
- Generate efficient machining strategies for Okuma turning centres
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Machinists to improve cycle times and maximise productivity
- Modify and prove‑out existing programs where required
- Ensure all programs meet quality, tooling and production requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department
- Proven experience as a CAD/CAM Offline Programmer
- Strong knowledge of Edgecam
- Experience programming Okuma lathes
- A solid understanding of precision machining and CNC turning processes
- The ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience within precision engineering, motorsport, aerospace or similar high‑specification manufacturing would be advantageous
- 6 Month Contract

- Days: Typically 8:00am – 5:00pm
