CNC Miller (3 Axis) – Siemens Controls
Our client is a well‑established precision engineering company based in Tamworth, supplying high‑quality precision components to a range of industries.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller to join their skilled machining team.
This is a permanent days‑based position working on a variety of precision components.
The successful candidate will be machining predominantly small batch work, ranging from one‑off prototypes through to batches of around 10‑off, requiring a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating 3‑axis CNC milling machines.
- Working with Siemens controls.
- Producing precision components from engineering drawings.
- Manufacturing one‑off and small batch components.
- Working to tight tolerances of up to 0.001mm.
- Carrying out self‑inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Good knowledge of Siemens controls.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience producing high‑precision components to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience within a precision engineering environment.
