Based in Camberley, our client offers a range of CNC machining, prototyping, and other engineering services of the highest quality to a variety of industries including aviation, scientific, defence and motorsport.

Job Requirements:

  • A high degree of experience and skill programming and setting CNC Mills and/or Lathes.
  • Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances.
  • Able to use initiative in the tasks undertaken.
  • Positive, courteous, and flexible manner needed for working with our positive, courteous and flexible team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assist the planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
  • Working on a variety of Conversational Mills and/or Fanuc or Mazak Lathes.
  • Option to program offline using Fusion360.
  • Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per our company procedure.
  • Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
  • Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches.
  • Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
  • Working to established and developing company procedures in a continuously improving environment.
