About the Role
We are supporting a leading Coventry-based precision engineering manufacturer to recruit permanent CNC Miller Setters / Operators to join their backshift team. These are stable, long-term positions within a busy manufacturing environment, working on high-quality precision components using modern CNC milling equipment. Candidates will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring efficient production and maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines on backshift
- Work from engineering drawings and tight tolerances
- Carry out in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
- Load, run, and make basic adjustments to programs where required
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely
- Support production output and quality targets
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter and/or Operator
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Experience with Matsuura CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and quality focus
